Mexico-Bound Truck Side Panel Roll Forming Line Successfully Commissioned

Metalign Machinery has completed the successful commissioning of a heavy-duty roll forming line for producing 2.0mm thick truck side panels. These U-type profiles are widely used in commercial vehicle body manufacturing, requiring high structural strength and precise surface flatness.

This production line features a wall panel gearbox-driven roll forming machine, ensuring robust and stable forming performance even under continuous heavy-load operation. The system is equipped with a hydraulic pre-cutting unit, allowing material to be sheared before entering the forming section—an ideal solution for managing thick steel coils and minimizing profile deformation.

Our technical team conducted full-cycle testing, focusing on key aspects such as material feeding, forming accuracy, cutting precision, and synchronization. The results were consistent and stable across the entire production process.

The customer, who traveled from Mexico to attend the trial run on-site, was highly satisfied with both the machine’s build quality and the overall forming result. With final acceptance confirmed, the machine is now being prepared for export shipment.
