Metalign Roll Forming Machinery Successfully Commissioned 3" Floor Deck Roll Forming Machine with Deep Embossing

Metalign Machinery recently completed the commissioning of a high-performance 3" floor deck roll forming machine tailored for structural applications. Compared to standard roof panel lines, this project required a higher level of precision and technical coordination due to the deep embossing patterns and the heavy-gauge steel coil used in production.

High Standards for Heavy-Duty Forming

Unlike typical roofing profiles, floor decking requires not only greater structural depth but also precise deep embossing to enhance anti-slip properties and bonding strength with concrete. These features demand greater forming pressure and more refined roller tooling. The machine was built to process galvanized steel coils with thicknesses up to 1.5mm, requiring enhanced structural support, optimized roller passes, and finely calibrated embossing stations.

From the first coil feed to the final product inspection, the machine's setup process was carried out by Metalign’s experienced technical engineers in close collaboration with our skilled workshop team. Each forming station was adjusted with micrometric accuracy to ensure consistent embossing depth and correct profile dimensions, even under high forming loads. The team ran multiple coil tests to verify the integrity of the embossing and to eliminate any potential deflection or material distortion.
